Majola completes 10 yrs as CSA CEO
Cricket South Africa chief executive Gerald Majola has completed 10 years in office, becoming the longest-serving CEO in international cricket.

Cricket South Africa chief executive Gerald Majola has completed 10 years in office, becoming the longest-serving CEO in international cricket.
The 50-year-old administrator was presented a special during the lunch interval of the ongoing third Test between India and South Africa to mark his decade long service.
"Majola, the longest serving CEO in world cricket, comes from an Eastern Cape sporting dynasty, including his late father Eric, a double Black Springbok in cricket and rugby," CSA said in a statement.
Majola, who has played cricket and rugby, said he takes pride in associated with the CSA for such a long time "It has been an honour and a privilege to be CSA CEO for 10 years. It has been particularly meaningful to have been CEO during the hosting of all of the International Cricket Council world tournament finals as well as the IPL and Champions League tournaments," said Majola.
"It has also been gratifying to be part of the rise of the Proteas into one of the most formidable outfits in all forms of world cricket.
"It has been particularly uplifting to being part of the continuing transformation of South African cricket in CSA's mission to make cricket a truly national sport of winners," he added.
