Suresh Raina is the Man of the Match for his brilliant knock! Says that he is glad with his performance, adds that Dhoni was brilliant in the partnership and they played smart cricket. The wicket was a good one for batting. Also says that he knew whenever team will need, he has to deliver. Thanks his skipper and the support staff for backing him. Signs off by saying that getting a World Cup award is special.
Zimbabwe will be disappointed with their performance in the second half of the chase. They had the World Champions on the mat but then let the game slip away from their grasps. The dropped catch of Raina didn't help their cause either as the southpaw made full use of the life granted to him and went on to hammer them all around the park. A word of praise for Brendan Taylor, he led from the front with the bat in his last match for Zimbabwe and helped his side post a challenging total. Then he was good in the field as well with his captaincy but the fielders and then the bowlers let him down with some mediocre performance.
Terrific victory for India! They had an untested middle order before this match but today have got that area ticked as well. It was a tough run chase for the defending champions, they were under the cosh after losing four top order wickets cheaply but what we witnessed after that was nothing less than spectacular. Suresh Raina rose to the occasion and hit a thumping century and he was involved in an outstanding unbeaten partnership with Captain Cool, MS Dhoni.
SIX! Dhoni finishes it off in style! Panyangara goes short with his length on middle, Dhoni rides the bounce and launches it over square leg for a biggie. INDIA WIN BY 6 WICKETS!
Full toss outside off, Dhoni drills it through covers. The fielder in the deep does well to pull it back and saves a couple of runs. Terrific effort!
A full toss again, pushed down the ground to long off for a single.

Short on middle, pulled down through mid-wicket for a single. 9 needed off 12 balls!
