India, replying to Sri Lanka's first innings score of 183, were 128 for two at stumps on the opening day of the first Test at the Galle International Stadium on Wednesday. Catch all the highlights of the match here: (SCORECARD | SCHEDULE)
Opener Shikhar Dhawan was unbeaten on 53 and skipper Virat Kohli was on 45. The pair added 100 for the third wicket after India were reduced to 28-2.
Earlier, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin claimed six wickets and leg-spinner Amit Mishra took two as the hosts were shot out in 49.4 overs after electing to bat.

Sri Lanka have managed to bowl out India today. Virat and Dhawan were the architects of Indian innings and Saha played a crucial 60 to help India's cause. Tharindu Kaushal was the pick of the Lankan bowlers picking up a 5-fer and Pradeep picked up a 3-fer. Sri Lanka now come in to bat for a mere 4 overs and will look to end the day on a high by not losing any wickets. We will be back in a while with the third innings.
