IND vs SL, 2nd Test, Day 2 Highlights : Trailing by 419 runs, Sri Lanka posted 28 for one at Stumps against India on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, on Sunday. Dimuth Karunaratne (10*) and Kusal Mendis (16*) will resume batting for Sri Lanka on Day 3. Meanwhile, Lahiru Thirimanne was dismissed for a three-ball duck by Jasprit Bumrah. Earlier, India put in a brilliant batting performance to declare at 303 for nine, courtesy of half-centuries from Rishabh Pant (50) and Shreyas Iyer (67). Meanwhile, Praveen Jayawickrama took four wickets for Sri Lanka and Lasith Embuldeniya bagged three. Earlier, a five-for by Jasprit Bumrah helped India bowl out Sri Lanka for 109 on Day 2 and took a lead of 143 runs. Angelo Mathews top-scored for the visitors with a knock of 43 runs, in a performance where the team's other batters failed. The five-for was also Bumrah's first-ever in India. Meanwhile, R Ashwin and Mohammed Shami took two wickets each. Earlier, India were bowled out for 252, with Shreyas Iyer narrowly missing out on a ton. The batter smashed 92 runs off 98 balls, also hammering 10 fours and four sixes. Meanwhile, Lasith Embuldeniya, Praveen Jayawickrama took three wickets each for the visiting bowling department. Dhananjaya de Silva took two wickets and Suranga Lakmal bagged a dismissal.
