Indian batters faltered against an incisive England bowling attack as the visitors raised their game in a must-win scenario to win the third T20I by 26 runs and keep the five-match series alive here on Tuesday. Mohammed Shami made a solid comeback to international cricket after 14 months but it was Varun Chakravarthy's bowling effort that stood out as his five-wicket haul helped India limit England to 171/9. India should have chased down the target but the batters could only manage 145/9 in 20 overs. India still lead the series 2-1 with the fourth game scheduled in Pune on January 31.
England have done it! A very impressive bowling performance and India did not look in control for the majority of the run chase. England emerge victorious by 26 runs and they have now made the series 1-2.
Mohammed Shami slammed a six but got out on the very next delivery while Dhruv Jurel also ended up throwing away his wicket as India have now lost nine wickets. It is all over in Rajkot as the hosts are inches away from defeat.
Is that the game for India? Hardik Pandya goes for yet another big shot down the ground but this time, the power was not there and the ball went straight in the hands of Jos Buttler. Jamie Overton strikes for England and it is almost game over for India.
More misery for India! Axar Patel tried to go for a big shot but ended up miscued it completely. A straightforward catch for Adil Rashid and Jofra Archer strikes for England.

Hardik Pandya slams a boundary and India really needed that. The boundaries have been quite rare in this innings and England will need at least one more wicket to feel comfortable. With Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya at the crease, this game is still hanging in the balance.

England definitely have more of the momentum here. They have tightened the screws on India, as Overton concedes just 4 runs. One of these two batters need to start hitting it before the targets goes out of reach.
