New Delhi:

England pacer Steve Harmison has decided to hang his boots and wants to go for the last kill in Ashes, according to a report on Saturday.

Harmison has become the fifth member of the 2005 Ashes-winning side to hang up his Test boots along with Marcus Trescothick, Michale Vaughan, Andrew Flintoff and Ashley Giles.

Unlike Flintoff, who has just retired from Test cricket but will continue inr one-day and Twenty20 matches, Harmison has decided to bid adieu to all forms of international cricket and turn out solely for his county.

According to a Daily Mirror report, Harmison confided in close friends and team-mates that he has had his fill of the international treadmill. He wants to concentrate on playing for Durham.

He is expected to be named in the England squad on Sunday for the third npower Test at Edgbaston, once again as cover for his best pal Flintoff, the burly all-rounder who's playing his last Test cricket.

Harmi has been in good form for Durham so far this season, taking 49 first-class scalps at an average of 18, but with county team-mate Graham Onions also grabbing his fair share of wickets he has been relegated to a bit-part player in the national set-up.

With 221 Test wickets, Harmison features 11th on England's all-time list. But in the last 20 England Tests, he has been selected for only four because of his inconsistency.
