Adelaide:
Australia coach Darren Lehmann says Jonathan Trott's withdrawal from the Ashes tour due to stress will not be used as ammunition in the sledging battle between the teams during the second test beginning at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday.
Â
But Lehmann has still stopped short of condemning opening batsman David Warner, who labelled Trott's batting in the first test as "poor" and "weak", prompting debate about the no-go zones of the intense rivalry between the two teams.
Â
Lehmann said on Saturday that he had counseled Warner, who retrospectively acknowledged he overstepped the line by questioning Trott's approach and performance.
Â
Lehmann said, "Warner agreed that he crossed the line so that is a better understanding of the game."
