2 runs.
FOUR! Second boundary of the over. 100 UP FOR SOUTH AFRICA WOMEN and just 33 needed now, at less than 5 an over! Down the leg side, fired through, Anneke Bosch gets down and across and sweeps it through fine leg.
Pushed down to long off for a single.
Full, around off, watchfully defended.
FOUR! 14 runs in the last 3 balls! Ash Gardner returns and starts with a fuller ball outside off. Laura Wolvaardt gets down on a knee and sweeps it through mid-wicket. 38 more needed from 47 balls now. This partnership has raced to 72 and it is the HIGHEST PARTNERSHIP AGAINST AUSTRALIA FOR ANY WICKET IN THIS TOURNAMENT.
SIX! This is even better! South Africa Women are marching home now. Tossed up once more, around middle and leg this time, Bosch dances down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and swings it handsomely. This goes to the left of the deep mid-wicket fielder and over her, crossing the ropes. 12 from the over, Georgia Wareham's figures read 2-0-22-0.
FOUR! BOSH! 48 more needed from 49 balls now. Tossed up, around middle, spinning away, Anneke Bosch gets down on a knee and sweeps it powerfully, to the right of deep mid-wicket.
Comes down the track again and drives it to long on for a run.
Comes down the track this time and Wareham slips a quick leg break around leg stump, Wolvaardt looks to flick but is early into the shot. Gets a leading edge which lands just short of cover.
Laura Wolvaardt backs a long way down the leg side and Wareham follows her. The skipper can only drive it back to the bowler.
Georgia Wareham returns. Starts with a googly around off, Anneke Bosch comes down the track and swings it through mid-wicket for a single.
Outside off, eased through mid-wicket for another single.
Landed around off, Anneke goes for the reverse sweep and top-edges it over short third. The fielder runs back and manages to get to the ball, pulling it back in and back-flicking it to backward point joining her in the chase. Two runs taken.
Full and down the leg side, Wolvaardt flicks it to deep mid-wicket for another single.
A short ball again, Bosch pulls it through mid-wicket for one.
A short ball, outside off, Laura Wolvaardt looks to pull but gets it from the top half of the bat. Does not carry to Ash Gardner at deep mid-wicket and the batters get a run. 59 more needed from 58 balls.
50-RUN STAND UP IN 37 DELIVERIES! Superb response after losing Tazmin Brits early. A length ball, around middle, Anneke Bosch works it through mid-wicket for a single.
DRINKS BREAK. Perfect position for South Africa Women to be in. They are going along at nearly 7-and-a-half runs per over and have lost just the solitary wicket. The required run rate is just around a run-a-ball and it does look like the Protea Fire is on track to stop the winning streak of the Kangaroos. Australia are clearly under pressure but it is not like they are bowling too badly. Unfortunately for them, the ball is not doing as much as it did in the first innings and it is increasingly looking like a game which was won at the toss. One can sense some nervousness and frustration in the Aussie camp now and the South Africans might just go for broke now, to romp into their second successive World Cup final. Megan Schutt is back on. 2-0-14-0 so far.
Full and down the leg side, AB sweeps it through fine leg but Phoebe Litchfield manages to save some runs with a dive to her right. The ball does deflect away from her; it results in just a single.
Outside off, does not quite come onto the bat, Laura mistimes her punch towards long off for another single.
