India take on Australia in the fourth ODI of the tri-nation series on Sunday. While Australia now have two wins from as many matches, India have just the one win against Sri Lanka. Going purely by statistics, India are not likely to add to the tally.
The two teams have met on four occasions at the Adelaide Oval with the hosts winning each time. While the last time an ODI was played, Australia won the 2008 match by 50 runs, the largest margin of 152 runs was in a match played in 2000 when Mark Waugh slammed 116 off 131 balls. He was adjudged man-of-the-match.
While Waugh became the only centurion in an Australia-India ODI at the Adelaide Oval, Brett Lee has the best bowling figures of 5/27, in the same match. He is one of only two, the other being John Reid, to have claimed five wickets here, in matches played between the two teams.
