Ashwin fined five percent of match fee
Chennai Super Kings spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was fined five percent of his match fee for violating the Indian Premier League (IPL) code of conduct during the clash with Kings XI here on Saturday.

Chennai Super Kings spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was fined five percent of his match fee for violating the Indian Premier League (IPL) code of conduct during the clash with Kings XI here on Saturday.
Ashwin was charged with a Level 1 offence for showing dissent at an umpire's decision (Article 2.1.3) in the match at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. Ashwin admitted the offence and accepted the sanction.
In accordance with the IPL Code of Conduct and being a Level 1 breach, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding.
