Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has said that losing VVS Laxman was a void that can never be fulfilled.
Sachin said via twitter, "My dear friend, VVS laxman, one of the best players Indian cricket has seen and I have played with will no longer be with me."
Sachin and Laxman shared a 353 run partnership against Australia at Sydney in 2004 as India piled up a seven hundred plus score. They have been instrumental in producing some crucial alliances that have seen India through some tough situations.
Sachin described Laxman as a true legend of the game and a thorough gentleman.
"It has been an absolute pleasure to share some of my greatest cricketing moments with a true legend of the game and a thorough gentleman" Sachin said on twitter.
He went on to say that India would miss Laxman alot and he cherished the sixteen years they played together.
"VVS, the team and I will miss you. I will forever cherish the 16 years we have played together" tweeted Sachin.
