India proved to be too good for Sri Lanka in the end as they completed the three-match series with a convincing 78-run win in Pune. Shikhar Dhawan found his form back as he scored a quick-fire 52. Navdeep Saini was the breakout performer for the home side. That's it from us. India's next assignment begins on Tuesday as they host Australia for a three-match ODI series.
Dhananjaya De Silva hits Yuzvendra Chahal straight over his head for a four and a valiant effort on the boundary from Manish Pandey couldn't prevent the ball from going over the rope.
Huge mix-up in the middle and Manish Pandey had all the time in the world to run out the batsman. Sri Lanka are in deep trouble now as they lose their third wicket.
Shardul Thakur strikes back on the very next delivery. Avishka Fernando was looking to go over the top through the off side this time but hit it straight into the hands of Shreyas Iyer.
Jasprit Bumrah strikes in his first over as Danushka Gunathilaka departs for one. Gunathilaka was trying to go over mid-on but failed to get his timing right.
