19:55 (IST): TOSS! Rajasthan Royals skipper Rahul Dravid opts to field after winning the toss against Perth Scorchers in Jaipur.
Perth Scorchers will look to end Rajasthan Royals' unbeaten streak at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium to stay alive in the tournament, a feat several formidable sides have failed to accomplish in 2013. Rajasthan have won all ten matches in Jaipur across IPL VI and the CLT20.
Over the course of IPL VI, Rajasthan were an immovable object at home, and sometimes through Shane Watson's explosive skills, they were an unstoppable force too. A temporary derailment due to the spot-fixing scandal notwithstanding, they did well enough to finish third and gain direct entry into the Champions League Twenty20 2013.
A win for Rajasthan would solidify their position at the top of Group A and guarantee them a semifinal spot. However, Rajasthan would be aiming for more than just qualification, since the team that tops Group A would play their semifinal in Jaipur.
Rajasthan Royals: Rahul Dravid (captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny, Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Ashok Menaria, Dishant Yagnik, Vikramjeet Malik, Harmeet Singh, Rahul Shukla, Pravin Tambe, Shane Watson, Brad Hodge, James Faulkner, Kevon Cooper, Shaun Tait.
Perth Scorchers: Simon Katich (captain), Ashton Agar, Michael Beer, Jason Behrendorff, Hilton Cartwright, Burt Cockley, Liam Davis, Brad Hogg, Joe Mennie, Marcus North, Joel Paris, Tom Triffitt (wicketkeeper), Ashton Turner, Adam Voges, Sam Whiteman.
