India dropped a place to the fourth spot in the Test rankings, after playing out a draw against hosts Bangladesh in a rain-hit one-off Test at Fatullah on Sunday.

At Fatullah, India declared their first innings at 462/6, Bangladesh were bowled out for 256 and were forced to bat again on the fifth day. The hosts were 23/0 when both captains agreed to call it a draw on Sunday.
The draw helped Bangladesh gain two ranking points to reach 41, but remain at their current ninth-spot position behind the West Indies (84).
