Shuttler PV Sindhu crashes out of Malaysia Open

Sindhu lost 16-21, 19-21 to South Korean sixth seed Yeon Ju Bae in the women's singles second round.

Leading Indian shuttler P.V. Sindhu was ousted by South Korean sixth seed Yeon Ju Bae in the women's singles second round of the $500,000 Malaysia Open Super Series Premier here on Thursday.

The World No.7 Korean won 21-16, 21-19 in 45 minutes at the Putra Stadium to take a 2-0 lead in career meetings over the Hyderabadi.

Saina Nehwal, Parupalli Kashyap and Kidambi Srikanth will play their respective second-round matches later.
