Indian bowlers were on fire as the bowled out Pakistan for a paltry 83 with Hardik Pandya taking three wickets for 8 runs. Mohammad Amir scalped three wickets early to give India a massive jolt in the chase. 22:15 hrs IST: MS Dhoni: "The condition are very different from what it will be in ICC World T20. Amir bowled really well. Glad we restricted to 83 because 100 plus runs would have caused us problems. We bowled well in the middle orders. We have a lot of options so that is why we are sticking with this combination. Fielding was a very important aspect and we love to put a lot of effort in our fielding."

India and Pakistan fans return to the battle ground after a gap of one year.

The battlelines were clearly drawn when India and Pakistan trained side-by-side on Friday. No pleasantries were exchanged and the players stuck to just business. Pakistan will be looking for a winning start when they begin their Asia Cup Twenty20 campaign on Saturday. India have already sounded their intentions after handing out a 45-run thrashing to hosts Bangladesh in the opening game of the tournament on Wednesday.

When India and Pakistan clash, history and statistics take a backseat. MS Dhoni's team has a solid record in the recent limited overs matches against Pakistan and India's batting pillar Virat Kohli has emerged prince in most games between the former world champions.
