Pakistan rode Mohammad Hafeez's brilliant 61 and Umar Gul's three-for to down India by five wickets in Bangalore -- their only victory over India so far in Twenty20s. After putting India into bat, Gul picked up three for three for 21 and Saeed Ajmal bagged two for 25 to restrict MS Dhoni's side to 133 for nine.
In response, Pakistan were off to a woeful start after debutant Bhuvneshwar Kumar reduced the visitors to 12 for three in three overs.

September 24, 2007 -- India beat Pakistan in World T20 final
India held their nerve to clinch a five-run victory in one of the best finals the sport has ever witnessed, at the inaugural World Twenty20 in Johannesburg. India rode Gautam Gambhir's brilliant 75 to post a challenging 157 for five. India looked well in control but Misbah-ul-Haq's three sixes off a Harbhajan Singh over and Sohail Tanvir's quick four-ball 12 changed the complexion of the game.
Needing 13 in the final over, Misbah hit Joginder Sharma for a big six to tilt the balance towards Pakistan. They now required six runs off four balls with one wicket in hand. However, on the next delivery, Misbah failed to connect an attempted scoop shot and Sreesanth held the catch of his life at short fine leg. It was a sensational win for India. Irfan Pathan's three for 16 earned him the Man of the Match award.
