Ashwin's magnificent feat with the bat and his series-defining partnership with Saha has ensured that India's bowlers have something to bowl to. On a relatively flat but sluggish wicket, West Indies have gotten off to a good start with Kraigg Brathwaite scoring a gritty fifty.
The third day of this Test match in St.Lucia will be vital. Ashwin is getting some turn and with the uneven bounce, he could be the key force if India are to bowl the West Indies out cheaply. The hosts will be aiming for a solid show with the bat if they are to consolidate their position.
For Virat Kohli, his team will be eyeing quick wickets while for Jason Holder, a decent lead will help them dictate the terms of the Test
