Kolkata:
Sachin Tendulkar is used to tossing a ball in a different way but on Tuesday, he was doing it on a tennis court.
The Bombay Bomber was in Kolkata supporting the Sunfeast Open, a WTA tournament.
He had a pretty packed day that included addressing a press and interacting with Sania Mirza. But the evening was set aside for a relaxing game of doubles tennis.
Sachin was partnered by World number 35 Maria Kirilenko. But the pair faced some formidable opposition in the form of Mahesh Bhupathi and India's football captain Baichung Bhutia.
Sania was the umpire for the match, though Sachin would have liked to play against her. He'd said earlier in the day that he was keen to try his luck against India's best forehand.
