22:58 As far as the seedings are concerned it's 1 vs 2 so not much to choose from between the players. One can only hope to see some enthralling tennis as the game progresses.
22:53 It's almost time for the match and history is beckoning for India's Sania Mirza. She has never won a Wimbledon title and today is the chance to end that drought.
Wimbledon 2015 final is Sania's first final here across all formats in seniors though she had won the girls' doubles title here 12 years ago with Russian Alisa Kleybanova. Martina, on the other hand, has two doubles (1996, 1998) and one singles title (1997) to her credit that she won at the lone grass court Major.
The task ahead for the top seeds though won't be easy and will not be won on the basis of past records. The pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina are seeded second and have played well so far. Can they bring down the Indo-Swede pair?
