Moscow:
Number three seed Anastasia Myskina came from a set down to beat Vera Zvonareva in the all-Russian quarterfinal of the women's Kremlin Cup.
Zvonareva took the first 6-4, but then was completely outplayed by Myskina in the second, losing 6-0.
Myskina won the opening three games of the deciding third set and looked to be cruising but a gutsy display by Zvonareva levelled the scores at 5-5 before Myskina's experience finally told.
She took the match 4-6, 6-0, 7-5 and will face Lindsay Davenport of the United States in the semifinal.
In the other match, number five seed Elena Dementieva of Russia beat compatriot and number four seed Svetlana Kuznetsova in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3.
Dementieva will face another Russian in the semis, after Elena Bovina upset Venus Williams of the United States, 6-3, 6-2. (AP)
