India overcame dark horses Belgium 4-1 to march into the semifinals of the Snooker World Cup here on Saturday.
The Indian pair of Pankaj Advani, a 12-time world champion, and the country's lone professional, Aditya Mehta, outplayed Team Belgium in the best-of-7 quarterfinals in a little more than an hour.

In the semis on Sunday, India take on giants Scotland, a team comprising four-time world champion John Higgins and top snooker player Stephen Maguire.
Earlier on Saturday, Scotland defeated hosts and defending champions China 'A' 4-1.
