NBA stars Horace Grant, Ron Harper and Peja Stojakovic to visit Mumbai

Horace Grant, Ron Harper and Peja Stojakovic, who collectively have won 10 NBA championships, are to witness the 3-on-3 format NBA Jam national finals here at the Mehboob Studio on September 29, a media release said today.

Continuing its bid to woo Indian sports fans, the American National Basketball Association (NBA) is to bring three of its erstwhile stars to the city in September.

Horace Grant, Ron Harper and Peja Stojakovic, who collectively have won 10 NBA championships, are to witness the 3-on-3 format NBA Jam national finals here at the Mehboob Studio on September 29, a media release said on Friday.

The finalists would be identified through NBA jam regional events to be held in four cities from September 5 to 28.

Hyderabad would host between September 5 and 7 at M J College, Bangalore from 12 to 14 at Kanteerva Stadium, Delhi at Hans Raj College from 19 to 21 and at the St. Stanilaus high school here from 26 to 28.

The winning teams (of the different legs) would have a chance to play 3-on-3 against the NBA legends at the national finals.

There would also be a national final for the three-point contest and the winner would get the chance to shoot against Stojakovic, the release added.
