# Narine is the fourth player to get three or more Man Of the Match awards in the IPL 5, joining Chris Gayle (4), Abraham de Villiers and Virender Sehwag.

# Narine is the first Kolkata bowler to record two instances of four or more wickets in an innings in the IPL. His superb figures of 5 for 19 against Punjab at Eden Gardens on April 15, 2012 are the best by a Kolkata bowler in the IPL.

# Narine's above figures of 4 for 15 are the best by a Kolkata bowler against Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

# Narine's brilliant figures are the best by a Kolkata bowler away from home in the IPL  

# Narine (21 at 11.80 in 12 matches), Malinga (21 at 13.19 in 12 matches) and Morne Morkel (21 at 18.85 in 14 matches) are the top wicket-takers in the IPL 2012. All three bowlers have claimed 21 wickets each in the IPL 2012.

# Narine's economy rate of 5.25 is the best amongst the bowlers with atleast ten wickets in the IPL 2012.

# Jacques Kallis has posted his first duck in the present competition - his sixth in the IPL.

# Kallis is averaging 22.84 in the IPL 5 while aggregating 297 runs in 14 matches, including a fifty.

# Manoj Tiwary (41 off 43 balls) has top-scored for Kolkata Knight Riders.

# Tiwary's run-aggregate of 243 (ave.24.30) in 14 matches is the third highest for Kolkata in the IPL 2012, behind Gambhir (547) and Kallis (297).

# Rudra Pratap Singh has taken his wickets' tally to 74 at an average of 24.67 in 65 matches - the second highest wickets' tally, next only to Lasith Malinga - 82 (ave.15.95) in 54 matches.

# Kolkata Knight Riders, with 19 points in 15 matches,  are placed second after Delhi Daredevils (20) in the Points Table.

# Kolkata Knight Riders have posted their second win in ten games against Mumbai Indians in the IPL - their first victory being by 9 wickets at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on April 19, 2010.

# Mumbai Indians (108) have posted their lowest total against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, eclipsing the 133 for eight at Eden Gardens on April 19 2010.  

# Four Mumbai bowlers have claimed ten wickets or more  in the IPL 2012 - Lasith Malinga (21), Munaf Patel (15), Kieron Pollard (14) and RP Singh (10).

# Rohit Sharma (419), Ambati Rayudu (322), Sachin Tendulkar (255), Murali Karthik (231), James Franklin (207) and Kieron Pollard (204) are the leading run-getters for Mumbai in the present competition.

# Sunil Narine (4/15) has recorded two instances of four wickets or more in an innings in the IPL 2012.  He became the second bowler after Munaf Patel to produce two instances of four wickets or more in an innings in the present tournament.
