Andre Russell (Man of the Match): "Important game for us, we had to come back strong. We said back our strength. We are two strong guys. Pleasure to bat with Yusuf."
Gautam Gambhir (KKR skipper): "Unbelievable knock from Russell and Yusuf. The way we started with the bat, not upto the mark. Especially at this ground, we knew 12 or 13 can be chaseable. Just a matter of hanging in there."
Virat Kohli (RCB skipper): "Nothing much to say, we needed to take our chances. We let the game drift away. Composure with the ball was lacking. Guys like Russell and Yusuf will make you pay. Need to take chances in T20 cricket."

Royal Challengers Bangalore have two batsmen in the top five list of run-getters. Virat Kohli is in third place with 381 runs while AB de Villiers is in fourth place with 316. Yet, RCB are seventh in the table with just two wins out of six games. It is the same old story for RCB - A star-studded line-up let down by a paper-thin bowling.
Virat Kohli's Bowling Woes
In the game against Gujarat Lions, Dwayne Smith remarked that RCB's bowling is so weak that a total of 200 can be chased against them. In all their games, RCB's bowlers have conceded scores of 182/6, 194/5, 192/3, 182/4, 172/8 and 171/4. The inability to bowl an opposition out as well as the failure to curb the flow of runs has hurt RCB immensely. KL Rahul summed up the situation after their defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad when he said the team needed to work on their bowling. This could mean Chris Jordan's addition in the squad. In order to boost the batting, Chris Gayle, who has hurt Kolkata Knight Riders in the past, could come back from paternity leave.
However, there is a threat of rain forecast for this match and this could change the equation for both teams. The forecast for Bangalore is for rain to continue throughout the week and this might not bode well for RCB.

Kolkata Knight Riders Blow Hot and Cold
KKR have endured a topsy-turvy tournament so far. With four wins from seven games, they are fourth on the table but they will be aware that a slip-up could spice up the mid-table conundrum.
Gautam Gambhir's team will be looking to avoid a repeat of their batting collapse against Delhi Daredevils, where they lost five wickets for eight runs. Despite having a settled bowling and batting unit, KKR have struggled for consistency.
Gambhir's men will be hoping to bounce back but it will not be easy against RCB, who defeated them in both matches during the 2015 edition.
