Injuries, loss of form and poor luck. This has been the story of MS Dhoni's Rising Pune Supergiants in the 2016 Indian Premier League. With injuries to Kevin Pietersen, Faf du Plessis and now Mitchell Marsh, Rising Pune Supergiants' bench strength is being tested to their limits. With only two wins from seven games, Dhoni faces a make or break situation in the tournament. A loss against Mumbai Indians will make their task even harder.
The batting has been in fine touch, with Ajinkya Rahane scoring fifties while Steven Smith became the latest entrant into the centurion club when he smashed his maiden Twenty20 century in the match against Gujarat Lions. However, their bowling has been a concern, with Ravichandran Ashwin failing to be effective.
In what will be the last game in Maharashtra, Rising Pune Supergiants will be aiming to go out with a bang and Dhoni will be desperate to repeat the performance which they put on against the two-time IPL champions in their first game

Mumbai Indians Peaking At the Right Time
After a slow start, Mumbai Indians are once again peaking in the middle stages of the tournament. With wins over Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders, Rohit Sharma's team are in fifth position and a win will propel them to the second spot.
Mumbai Indians have a settled batting and bowling unit, with the skipper leading from the front with the bat. The lower middle order is also contributing, with Kieron Pollard smashing a 17-ball 51 in the match against KKR. With Mitchell McClenaghan, Tim Southee and Jasprit Bumrah bowling well, Mumbai Indians will be aiming for revenge for their loss in the opening encounter
