After being put in to bat, Kings XI Punjab lost wickets at regular intervals but Shaun Marsh's 40 and a cameo from Axar Patel helped the tourists post a competitive total. Mustafizur Rahman was the pick of the bowlers for Sunrisers Hyderabad as he finished with 2/9 in his four overs. 19:10 hrs IST: Hello and welcome to the coverage of the 18th match of the Indian Premier League season 9. Sunrisers Hyderabad take on Kings XI Punjab at Uppal tonight. The Orange Army have won two games in a row and suddenly look threatening. On the other hand, David Miller led Punjab desperately need a win to claw their way back into the tournament. 

David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan are Sunrisers Hyderabad's batting mainstays in Indian Premier League.

After two good wins, Sunrisers Hyderabad look like a settled unit. SRH have coped well without their two injured stars -- Yuvraj Singh and Ashish Nehra. This is largely because skipper David Warner has led from the front with three fifties.
 
The bowling has been handled well by the two pacers - Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman. Bhuvneshwar's spell of 4-0-29-4 was the real reason for the commanding win against Gujarat Lions.
 
Shikhar Dhawan's fifty against Gujarat Lions too came as a big relief. The Indian opener has been struggling for form but his unbeaten 53 and the 137-run stand with Warner (74 not out) consigned high-flying Gujarat Lions to a 10-wicket defeat.

Glenn Maxwell hasn't been able to be consistent for Kings XI Punjab in Indian Premier League.

Kings XI Punjab have been really struggling in IPL 2016. Their only win has come against Rising Pune Supergiants but that's been the only hurrah for a side that has decent quality in both batting and bowling departments.
 
A shaky middle order has been KXIP's biggest problem. Maxwell's failure has not helped David Miller's side. The skipper too has been out of form. Retired Mitchell Johnson looks like a shadow of his past and left-arm spinner Axar Patel has been missing an able bowling partner.
