19:06 hrs IST: Good evening and welcome to the coverage of the 13th match of Indian Premier League season 9. Kings XI Punjab take on Kolkata Knight Riders at Mohali tonight. Having lost their first two games, Punjab finally opened their account with a brilliant win over Rising Pune Supergiants on Sunday. On the other hand, Kolkata - with two wins in three games - are proving to be the team to beat this season. ÂÂ

Having beaten Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Rising Pune Supergiants in their previous match, Kings XI Punjab should start more confidently against Kolkata Knight Riders tonight. A good win can work wonders and KXIP will take a few positives from their only win in the tournament so far.
Glenn Maxwell's 14-ball 32 will come as a great relief, but the continuous failure of skipper David Miller and Shaun Marsh remain a concern. Manan Vohra and Murali Vijay have been consistent at the top of the order for KXIP but KKR's solid bowling attack will mount a serious challenge for the duo tonight.

KKR's bowling riches have only got a boost after Sunil Narine played his first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad last Saturday. The West Indian off-spinner, now bowling with a clean action, did not get wickets but completed his four overs giving away 26 runs.
Umesh Yadav, Morne Morkel, Shakib-Al-Hasan, Andre Russell and Piyush Chawla make KKR a formidable bowling unit. Gautam Gambhir has led the team from the front with his batting. His unbeaten 90 against Sunrisers was a classy knock that fashioned the comfortable eight-wicket win. KXIP will look for similar inspiration from their skipper.
