Mumbai Indians made a complete mess of their chase of 191 vs Delhi Daredevils, finishing with only 153/9 in their 20 overs. Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu top-scored with 30 apiece but that was nowhere near enough. Catch highlights from Kotla. (SCORECARD/POINTS TABLE/STATISTICS)
23:28 IST: It was a rather easy win for the Daredevils at the end. DD beat Mumbai by 37 runs to end a nine-match losing streak at home at the Kotla. Imran Tahir finished with three wickets while Amit Mishra snared two.
23:14 IST: Tahir removed McClengeghan for a duck and he was on a hat-trick. But Lasith Malinga survived the hat-trick ball. Mumbai, however, are staring at defeat at 135/8 off 17 overs, chasing 191.
23:10 IST: WICKET! This is disaster for the Mumbai Indians; Tahir has picked up another one in the same over and Delhi are on course to win their first game at home in a long, long time.
23:05 IST: WICKET! Rohit Sharma's gone; falls to Nathan Coulter-Nile and maybe it's all over for Mumbai. They still have Rayudu in the middle and Harbhajan on his day can be a powerhouse with the bat but 60 in four overs with five wickets left is a big, big ask.
22:59 IST: Never before, barring the first half of the last season, have Mumbai Indians looked so fragile. Not for the first time, a lot depends on Rohit. He has with Rayudu for company but the task is getting steep now. Mumbai Indians are 120/4 in 15 overs.

22:55 IST: SIX! Rohit hammers Nadeem into the stands. Rayudu follows it up with another six and MI are making a serious bid for 192 now; 114/4 in the 14th over.
22:52 IST: FOUR! Rohit gets underneath that one from Mishra and Mumbai the 13th over with 100/4. They need 91 to win off 42 balls.
22:45 IST: WICKET! Big, big trouble for Mumbai Indians, who have slipped to 82/4 in 11.2 overs, chasing 191 vs Delhi Daredevils. Mishra has been bowling with guile and he had set up a trap for Pollard and the West Indian basher fell right into it.
22:43 IST: SIX! Pollard cuts lose against Tahir. That was treated with sheer disdain. Mumbai Indians are 81/3 in 10 overs, chasing 191 vs Delhi Daredevils.

22:35 IST: WICKET! Mumbai Indians continue to slip away. Unmukt has been dismissed by Amit Mishra as Delhi take a firm grip on the match. MI 68/3 in 8.2 overs
22:24 IST: Patel had got stuck into Mathews, smashing him for 4 and 6 but the Sri Lankan skipper had the last laugh, removing the MI opener for 28. Mumbai 48/2 off 6 overs chasing 191.
22:18 IST: Unmukt Chand joins Parthiv Patel in the middle. Mumbai are 38/1 off 5 overs, chasing 191 vs Delhi .
22:15 IST: WICKET! Sensational catch by Duminy and that's the end of Lendl Simmons after he skied Dominic Joseph. Mumbai Indians are 35/1 in 4.2 overs, chasing 191 vs Delhi Daredevils at the Kotla.
22:06 IST: Mumbai Indians are 21/0 off 3 overs, as Lendl Simmons and Parthiv Patel start off well in pursuit of 191 vs the Daredevils.
21:37 IST: Delhi Daredevils finished with 190/4 vs Mumbai Indians off their 20 overs. Duminy remained unbeaten on 78 while Yuvraj Singh failed to work any wonders having walked in to bat with two overs left.
21:27 IST: Mathews came out all guns blazing and hammered 17 off 8 balls before being done in by McCleneghan. Delhi Daredevils are 174/3 off 18 overs.
21:19 IST: Finally, Shreyas Iyer's onslaught has come to an end. He was bowled by Lasith Malinga for a 56-ball 83 as Delhi reached 156/2 in the 17th over. Amre, the DD assistant coach shakes his head in disapproval from the dug-out. Iyer added 154 with his skipper Duminy - this is the highest stand in this IPL and the second highest for the Daredevils in any IPL

21:05 IST: Shreyas Iyer has just clobbered Harbhajan Singh for two successive sixes. This is almost unreal and the off-spinner can hardly believe it himself. The great Bhajji has been taken to the cleaners by a young Turk. Duminy brings up his 12th fifty. DD 130/1 off 14 overs.
20:58 IST: SIX! What a knock this has been by the young Iyer - he sends McClenaghan packing into the stands. That was a strong, strong blow. And a top-edge flies away for 4. DD are 112/1 with seven overs left in the innings.
20:53 IST: Duminy is on fire - after getting his eyes in, he has carted Pollard for a boundary and two successive sixes as Delhi raced away to 94/1 in 11.4 overs vs Mumbai Indians. What a foundation this is for Yuvraj Singh to explode at the Kotla.

20:51 IST: Iyer goes 6, 4 and 4 against Bumrah to race away to his second fifty off 37 balls. Delhi are 82/1 off 11 overs as Mumbai Indians run out of ideas very soon at the Kotla.
20:45 IST: Delhi Daredevils are 65/1 in 10 overs and both Duminy & Iyer are looking really strong here. They are well settled but the duo now needs to push the scoring rate ahead.
20:41 IST: Kieron Pollard in the attack as Delhi Daredevils move to 60/1 in nine overs. This is a great platform for Yuvraj Singh to explode later on in the innings.
20:24 IST: With Delhi going hammer and tongs, Rohit Sharma introduced Harbhajan Singh into the attack - he bowled very well in the last game, snaring three wickets. He now gives away eight in his first over. DD 43/1 in 5 overs.
20:18 IST: Wow Bumrah has been sent out of the park by Duminy. DD are launching a counterattack here. Iyer had gone after McClenaghan in the previous over and now Duminy clobbers two successive sixes.
20:12 IST: Mumbai have come out with a lot of purpose tonight. Both McClenaghan and Malinga are bowling sharply and the fielders have been bright too. Delhi Daredevils are 11/1 after two overs.

20:04 IST: WICKET! McClenaghan digs it in short and Agarwal plays a poor shot in the first over - third delivery of the innings and that's a poor, poor shot from the opener. DD are 2/1 in 0.3 overs.
20:00 IST: Delhi openers Agarwal and Iyer in the middle. They have been very impressive so far this season. McClenaghan with the new ball for Mumbai Indians.
19:58 IST: Sachin Tendulkar turns 42 tomorrow. Can Mumbai Indians give the Little Master a fitting birthday gift by winning tonight? It will be a tall task against a strong DD unit but Rohit Sharma and his boys would be backing themselves to pull one off here.
19:50 IST: Both teams are in desperate need of a win tonight. Hosts Delhi Daredevils are fifth on the points table while Mumbai Indians languish at seventh. Again, both teams have the firepower to deliver when it matters most. Will it be Yuvraj or Rohit tonight?
19: 38 IST: Playing XIs:
Delhi Daredevils: MA Agarwal, SS Iyer, JP Duminy (Captain), Yuvraj Singh, AD Mathews, KM Jadhav (WK), NM Coulter-Nile, A Mishra, S Nadeem, Imran Tahir, DJ Muthuswami
Mumbai Indians: LMP Simmons, PA Patel (WK), UBT Chand, RG Sharma (Captain), KA Pollard, AT Rayudu, Harbhajan Singh, HH Pandya, JJ Bumrah, MJ McClenaghan, SL Malinga
19:32 IST: Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl vs Delhi Daredevils. Ravaged by injuries, MI have not made any changes to their playing XI tonight. Delhi have replaced Shahbaz Nadeem with Manoj Tiwary.
Both Delhi and Mumbai are yet to play their perfect game. After five matches each, the teams have not been able to establish their true character. One things is clear - a heavyweight coaching staff consisting of Ricky Ponting and Sachin Tendulkar (Mumbai) and costliest player (Yuvraj Singh, Delhi) combined with a World Cup-winning coach (Gary Kirsten) count for nothing.
Mumbai's problems are mounting. After Josh Hazlewood and Aaron Finch cried off due to injuries, the Rohit Sharma-led team suffered a telling blow when Corey Anderson broke a finger and will go home. The burly Kiwi all-rounder has had two fifties in four matches and held the middle-order together along with Kieron Pollard. Anderson's absence will be big hole to fill.

Mumbai's only win came against Royal Challengers Bangalore. But Mumbai's bowlers conceded 191 runs and that's not a good sign. Harbhajan Singh and Lasith Malinga are picking up their pieces slowly and Kotla will test their experience.
Delhi have two wins and look a shade better than Mumbai. With just one fifty, Yuvraj has to prove his worth but more than that, his body language must inspire others. Delhi batsmen must put a price on their wickets.
Delhi's biggest strength will be their bowling. Imran Tahir, Amit Mishra and Nathan Coulter-Nile have been among wickets and should prove to be a handful for Mumbai. Interestingly, Delhi and Mumbai have a 7-7 head-to-head in IPL. Very much reflects the current state of affairs.
