Jailed Sreesanth follows BCCI meeting on TV

Tainted India and Rajasthan Royals pacer S Sreesanth has been following the controversy surrounding N Srinivasan with great interest

Sreesanth and his RR teammate Ajit Chandila, who were arrested by Delhi Police for their alleged involvement in the Indian Premier League spot fixing scandal, have been following the crisis in Indian cricket administration on television from their Tihar Jail cell No 1," according to Tihar Jail spokesperson Sunil Gupta.

Yesterday too, the tainted duo was glued to the television following the happenings of the emergency working committee meeting in Chennai.

The jail spokesperson said that Sreesanth is reading newspapers daily. "Both are very calm, especially Sreesanth. They are trying to adjust to this environment. Sreesanth is reading newspapers with a lot of interest," said Gupta.

Sreesanth, however, has lost around eight kilos and has low blood pressure since his arrest on the night of May 15. His elder brother Deepu Santhan was the last to visit him.
