# Overall, Kolkata's aforesaid victory is their second biggest in terms of runs in the IPL, next only to the 140-run win over RCB at Bangalore on April 18,2008.

# Kolkata Knight Riders (180/4) have posted their highest total at the IPL 2013, surpassing the 154 for eight against RCB at Bangalore on April 11, 2013.

# Kolkata Knight Riders, with four points in four games, are placed fifth in the points table.

# Amongst the top seven teams in the points table, Sunrisers Hyderabad (six points in five games) are the only one to have recorded a minus net run-rate.

# The aforesaid total is the highest by any team against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the IPL, surpassing RCB's 162 for three at Bangalore on April 9.

# Kolkata's aforesaid total is third highest in the present edition, next only to Mumbai's 209 for five against Delhi at Mumbai on April 9 and 183 for 3 against Pune at Mumbai on April 3.

# Gautam Gambhir (53 off 45 balls) has posted his second consecutive fifty at the IPL 2013 - his 18th overall - the first batsman to accomplish the feat.

# Gambhir, with 175 runs at an average of 43.75 in four games is the top run-scorer for Kolkata in the present competition.  Eoin Morgan has the next best aggregate for Kolkata - 114 at an average of 38.00.

# Gambhir's aggregate is the fourth highest at the IPL 2013, next only to the 256 by Virat Kohli; 224 by Dinesh Karthik and 195 by Chris Gayle.

# The five leading run-getters in the IPL 2013 are Suresh Raina (2294), Gautam Gambhir (2240), Rohit Sharma (2130), Sachin Tendulkar (2115) and Jacques Kallis (2045).

# Since posting 99 by Gautam Gambhir and Brendon McCullum against Chennai at Eden Garden, Kolkata on May 14, 2012, the 59-run stand is Kolkata's first partnership of fifty or more in eight innings for the first wicket at the IPL.

# Cameron White is the only other batsman to manage 100 runs in the present competition for Hyderabad - 105 at an average ogf 21.00 in five games.

# Jacques Kallis (41 + 3/13) has become the first all-rounder to make 40 runs and capture three wickets in an IPL game this year. For the first time, he has made a 40-plus and captured three wickets in the same IPL game.

# Kallis is the only Kolkata all-rounder to accomplish the aforesaid double in an IPL game.  

# Kallis' aforesaid bowling performance is his best in the IPL.

# Gambhir's tally of eight Man of the Match awards is bettered only by Chris Gayle (14), Yusuf Pathan (12) and Virender Sehwag (9).
