Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is an ardent fan of Sachin Tendulkar, plans to watch the Master Blaster's second innings of his 199th Test match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Since Shah Rukh is banned from entering Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai (following an alleged scuffle with the ground staff there), he will try and catch Sachin's match in Kolkata. (Also read: Schumacher writes to Sachin, says life after retirement is good)
"I will go on November 10. I am going to Kolkata for a film festival and I will try and attend the Test match there. I will see if I can reach, land up there and wish him," Shah Rukh said. "There are some places (Wankhede Stadium) where they don't allow even Shah Rukh Khan to go. You wait three hours for me out of love, there are people who don't want me," he added.
Earlier, Shah Rukh had expressed his disappointment over Sachin's announcement of retirement.
"When I heard about it I was in Australia... I learnt about it a little late...I felt bad. He has taken the decision as he understands sports better. He did a lot for cricket. He should take rest, relax and enjoy with family," the actor had said.
