Sachin Tendulkar uses special tri-colour bat in final Test
Sachin Tendulkar, who usually wears a black grip on his bat, had a tricolour around his sponsor's logo, specially designed for his final appearance.

Sportswear company Adidas presented Sachin Tendulkar with a special bat featuring the Indian tri-colour for the Master Blaster's 200th and final Test at the Wankhede Stadium here. (Day 1 report)
Talking about the special bat designed for Sachin's last Test, Tushar Goculdas, brand director, adidas India said, "On the field, Sachin's bat does all the talking and every stroke from his blade is driven by his passion for India and with the intention of making India win." "Sachin wanted to dedicate his career to the country and use his adidas-ST bat as a symbolic representation of his commitment. Over the last few days, we worked very closely with the master to create this special bat featuring the Indian tri-colour," he added. (Related read: President praises Sachin)

After the hosts were reduced to 77 for two, Tendulkar, who came out to bat next, got a rapturous reception and the Little Master did not disappoint as he caressed his way to an unbeaten 38 at the end of the day's play.
