Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina and Ravichandran Ashwin will be in focus as India play for pride in the third and final twenty20 international against South Africa in Kolkata on Thursday. (3rd T20I: Chance for MS Dhoni and Co. To Restore Lost Pride)
India, 2-0 down in the three-match series, are expected to make more than a couple of changes in their playing XI but Kohli, Raina and Ashwin are expected to play as the hosts look for a consolation win ahead of the ODI series starting in Kanpur on October 11 (Sunday). (India vs South: Determined South Africa Aiming for 3-0 Sweep, Says David Miller)
While Kohli can become the first Indian batsman to score 10 Twenty20 international fifties, Raina is 17 runs shy of a 1000 T20I runs. And Ashwin needs just one more wicket to become the first Indian to take 30 scalps in T20Is.
South Africa will be playing their 83rd T20I in Kolkata. South Africa and New Zealand will share the second place among teams to have played most T20Is.
South Africa need one victory to score their 50th T20I win. Pakistan is the other team to win 50 T20Is. The green shirts have 56 T20Is.

While the Indians are chasing wickets and runs, the South Africans will be keener to hold their catches. Smart fielding has been a hallmark of Faf du Plessis' side and India were done in by two big runs outs in the Cuttack match where they folded for 92, their lowest ever at home.
JP Duminy, who has done well with the bat in the current series, needs two more catches for his 30 catches. If he takes them, he would then become the second South African to take 30-plus catches. AB de Villiers has taken 37 catches.
De Villiers needs three more catches to become the first man to take 40 T20I catches. Ross Taylor of New Zealand heads this list with 39 catches.
