Happiness has many manifestations. For Yuvraj Singh and family it was crying together when given the news of the cricketer's inclusion in the India T20 squad against New Zealand.
"He was crying, I was crying... it was a great moment for us," says Shabnam, Yuvi's mother.
Considered as the pillar of strength behind Yuvi's fight against a cancerous tumor, Shabnam is already nervous about her son's comeback. "I have always been more nervous than him. Any match he plays is a stress to me," says Shabnam, who was with the cricketer during his treatment in the US.
And while everyone is hoping that Yuvi quickly returns to his big-hitting days, Shabnam wants people to acknowledge his comeback than thinking about his performance.
"Of course he will perform, may be in this match or in the next," she says. "But, at the moment, everyone should salute his spirit and think about how he fought back."
