The India-Australia Test series is always a keen contest. Apart from the battle on field, the constant rumblings in players' minds too are common. While many of the current players like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Michael Clarke and Harbhajan Singh are gunning for records, the team performance would be the key when it comes to real cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar has an aggregate of 3438 runs prior to the start of the series. He requires 199 more runs to overhaul the existing record run aggregate of 3636 by JB Hobbs of England. If he gets these runs, he would then have the most runs against Australia.
