Kolkata ODI re-scheduled for England's tour of India

The date for the fifth and final ODI between India and England, scheduled for the Eden Gardens at Kolkata, has been moved a day earlier to October 25.

The date for the fifth and final ODI between India and England, scheduled for the Eden Gardens at Kolkata, has been moved a day earlier to October 25.

The BCCI has advised the ECB that the 5th ODI will have to be played a day earlier than originally agreed, in view of the Kali Pooja festival (26-28 Oct), which would make the provision of appropriate security for the match problematic.

The 5th ODI will now be played on 25 October. This is the only change made to the itinerary that was released on June 29 2011, and the revised itinerary is as follows:

20 October 3rd ODI v India (D/N) Mohali (PCA Stadium)
23 October 4th ODI v India (D/N) Mumbai (Wankhede Stadium)
25 October 5th ODI v India (D/N) Kolkata (Eden Gardens)
29 October T20 v India (D/N) Kolkata (Eden Gardens)
