Substitute Djibril Cisse scored in the 89th minute as Queens Park Rangers beat Stoke 1-0 and moved further away from the Premier League drop zone.
Cisse latched on to Anton Ferdinand's flick-on in the 89th minute at Loftus Road.
Mark Hughes' side is now two points clear of the relegation zone with one game to play - a tough test at league leader Manchester City.
