Kohli, one of the most successful and flamboyant batsmen in world cricket, had a horror patch in England through the Test and ODI series and was often in the news for his relationship with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. However, his run of low scores over the last two months did not deter his die-hard supporters.
Apart from being viewed as the next big thing in Indian cricket, Kohli, who leads the star-studded Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, even has international superstars like Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers holding him in awe. (Virat Kohli Co-Owner of Goa FC in ISL)
The 25-year-old right-handed batsman has 19 ODI hundreds from 138 matches and six tons from 29 Tests. Kohli has often been in the news for controversial reasons, including lewd gestures towards fans and angry outbursts on the field. However, few of his peers and fans and none of his teammates would ever question his commitment and zeal to win matches for India at any cost.
