Virat Kohli has been in an imperious run of run form this year. The Indian Test captain was prolific for India in the World T20 earlier this year, and followed it up with a fantastic IPL season with Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Kohli carried his form to Test cricket as well, and has scored two double centuries this year in the longest form of the sport. And the cricketer from Delhi has now continued his batting run in the ODIs against New Zealand.
Having led India to a 6-wicket win in the 1st ODI in Dharamsala with a fine half-century, Virat Kohli on Sunday scored his 26th century in ODI cricket to lead India's charge while chasing New Zealand's total of 285 runs in the 3rd ODI in Mohali.
Kohli completed his ton from 104 balls, hitting 10 boundaries in the process. India's run-chase was aided by skipper MS Dhoni, who scored 80 runs and strung together a 151-run partnership with Kohli for the third wicket.
Virat Kohli's knock put India closer to a victory in the 3rd ODI, which will give the hosts a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
