India rising star Unmukt Chand slammed a fiery 65-ball 93 to help Oil and Natural Gas Corporation secure a place in the semi-finals of the 40th All India Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament 2013.
Chasing 204 for a victory, the Under-19 World Cup winning captain hit 12 fours and 4 sixes to help ONGC beat Teddco C.C. by 6 wickets in 28.4 overs at the St Stephen's College ground in New Delhi.
Chand and skipper Gautam Gambhir put on 66 runs for the first wicket. Gambhir was out after scoring 28.
Earlier, Gambhir won the toss and invited Teddco to bat, who scored 203/6 in 35 overs with the help of captain Pratham Singh's half-century. The match was reduced to 35-overs-a-side due to wet outfield conditions caused by heavy thunderstorm and rain on Thursday night.
The defending champions will take on FCI in the first semi-final on Saturday.
