Vadodara:
English umpire Mark Benson was replaced on the field by India's Amish Saheba as the former fell sick on Saturday night and could not perform his duties in the opening One-Day International between India and Australia here on Sunday.
Saheba was originally nominated as the third umpire but had to perform on-field duty following the late withdrawal of ICC Elite Panel umpire Benson.
This meant two officials from the host country stood as on-field umpires on Sunday.
The other on-field umpire was India's Shavir Tarapore.
The fourth official nominated for the tie, Sudhir Asnani, was asked to perform the duty of the third umpire while local umpire Sanjay Hazare was inducted in his place.
