Karachi:

Pakistan all-rounder Sohail Tanvir on Tuesday said he had no qualms in playing in the Indian Premier League if invited again and PCB allows him to do so.

Pakistan Twenty20 skipper Shahid Afridi has also said that he is willing to forget the humiliation, the Pakistani players were subjected to at the auction in Mumbai and is open to play in the future editions if invited.

"I have nothing personal against India and if any opportunity arises in future where I am invited to play in the IPL or Champions League I will definitely go to play if my seniors do the same," Tanvir told PTI.

"I will do whatever my seniors tell me to do or go by the guidelines provided by the Pakistan Cricket Board," Tanvir, who played for inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals, added.

Tanvir said since they had a good previous experience of playing in India, all the players were shocked when they were snubbed publicly by the IPL franchises.

"Look, when I went to India with the Pakistan team in 2007 and after that for the IPL inaugural season I was warmly welcomed and treated well by the Indian people.

"It came as a rude shock to us and it was very sad but like I said if our board and senior players say we should go I will also go to play in India," he said.

The all-rounder is presently recuperating from a knee injury at the national cricket academy.
