Suresh Raina meets UP's new CM Akhilesh Yadav

Cricketer Suresh Raina on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to Uttar Pradesh's new Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav who expressed his views on improving the sports infrastructure in the state's rural areas.

Cricketer Suresh Raina on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to Uttar Pradesh's new Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav who expressed his views on improving the sports infrastructure in the state's rural areas.

Yadav is also thinking of ways to provide better facilities to sportspersons in the urban areas, the Ghaziabad-based Raina said after meeting the CM at the Samajwadi Party headquarter here.

Raina said that Yadav also talked about building a stadium of international standard in the state capital.

The meeting, during which Raina congratulated Yadav, lasted for about 15 minutes.
