Shane Warne to mentor Australian spinners in World T20

Cricket Australia said on Thursday that Warne will support head coach Darren Lehmann with the squad soon after it assembles in South Africa on March 3.

Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne has been appointed as a consultant to work with Australia's spin bowlers ahead of the World Twenty20 tournament in Bangladesh in March.

Cricket Australia said Ton hursday that Warne will support head coach Darren Lehmann with the squad soon after it assembles in South Africa on March 3.

The 44-year-old Warne said "we'll specifically work on tactics and mindset."

Lehmann said Australia "from time to time...will enlist the support of experts in their craft to work with our players and share their experiences."
