Brunette beauty Elizabeth Hurley and the 44-year-old retired Shane Warne got back together last month, but if a source is to be believed the couple has now called it quits for good.

The 48-year-old brunette beauty and the 44-year-old retired cricketer got back together last month, but if a source is to be believed the couple has now called it quits for good. (Read: Warne sells Melbourne mansion for USD 13.7 millions: reports)

"It is very sad and they tried to make it work but there were just too many issues in the way. Elizabeth is taking it one day at a time. She will always be extremely fond of Shane," HELLO! magazine quoted a source as saying. (Read: Did Shane Warne cheat on Liz Hurley for a porn star?)

Rumours of their split were fuelled after Warne tweeted: "The past should be the past and stay there. It destroys the future. Live life for what tomorrow has to offer, not for what happened yesterday." (Warne admits rocky phase in relationship)
