Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi on Friday became the leading wicket-taker in T20 Internationals, beating countryman Saeed Ajmal's record for most wickets in the shortest format of the game.
Leg-spinner Afridi, who took three for 15 in his four overs during the second T20 against England, took his tally to 86 wickets in as many matches to go past Ajaml's 85 wickets in 64 matches.
He removed England's top three batsmen - Jason Roy, Alex Hales and James Vince.(Afridi Ready to Play India)
However, his heroics with both ball and bat (8-ball 24) were not enough as England managed a three-run victory to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The third and final T20 will be played on November 30.
Afridi retired from one-day internationals after Pakistan's quarter-final exit at the 2015 ICC World Cup Down Under, while he bid goodbye to Tests in 2010.
He quit ODIs as the fifth-highest wicket-taker -- 395 wickets.
