Emphasis was on fielding as the entire Indian World Cup squad sweated it out in a three-hour practice session ahead of their Group B encounter against Ireland, here on Thursday.
Â
Opener Virender Sehwag and pacer Ashish Nehra, both of whom were nursing injuries went through the paces and looked comfortable.
Â
Sehwag had skipped Wednesday's session after flying to Delhi for an appointment with physiotherapist for a ribcage injury that he picked up during an earlier training session.
Â
Nehra, who missed both matches Bangladesh and England due to back spasms, is expected to be available for selection for the game against Ireland.
Â
The session started with a discussion between coach Gary Kirsten and the players followed by a throwing exercise to improve concentration and accuracy.
Â
Players were asked to throw balls into three buckets kept at a distance to improve their focus and accuracy on the field.
Â
Fielding has been one of India's major problem area with dropped catches and missed run outs being a regular feature in the team's matches.
Â
The training also included the regular net session.
