Sehwag made his international debut in 1999 and since then there has been no looking back for him. He is the sole owner of fastest triple century (300 off only 278 balls) record in the history of international cricket and the highest score (319) made by an Indian in Test cricket.
In March 2009, Sehwag smashed the fastest century (from 60 balls) ever scored by an Indian in ODI cricket.
