Profile: Gautam Gambhir

He scores way above his colleagues when it comes to aggression. Member of Team India team since 2003, Gautam Gambhir has cemented his place in the team with consistent hard-work and some superb performances.

Gambhir became only the fourth batsman after Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar and Sachin Tendulkar to score a double century in a tour game at home. He is the only Indian batsman to score more than 300 runs in four consecutive Test series.

The swashbuckling opener topped the ICC Test ranking charts in July 2009 for a short span of 10 days.
